Every pilot visiting the Outer Banks should sign in at least once at this historic location. At First Flight your stay is limited to 24 hours. This unattended 3,000-foot strip is maintained by the National Park Service. Since there are no lights, takeoffs and landings are permitted during daylight hours only. No fuel is available. Bring your own tie- downs.
